During continuous weaving, the cam, slider, shuttles and transmission components remain in repeated motion. Insufficient lubrication may contribute to abnormal noise, temperature rise, component wear or unstable shuttle movement.
This Forced Oil-Lubrication Circular Loom Machine uses a gear-pump oil-spray system for the cam and slider. A separate needle-valve oil cup provides lubrication and heat dissipation for the shuttles.
The system supports scheduled lubrication during tubular fabric production, but it does not eliminate the need for manual inspection and oil replacement.
| Lubrication area | Lubrication method | Inspection point |
|---|---|---|
| Cam and slider | Forced oil spray | Oil level, pipe position and oil flow |
| Cam groove | Continuous oil delivery | Blockage or insufficient lubrication |
| Shuttle | Needle-valve oil cup | Oil level and dropping rate |
| Shuttle track | Lubrication and cooling | Friction-wheel condition and temperature |
| Gears and chain wheels | Lubricating grease | Wear and lubrication interval |
| Bearings | Periodic grease application | Noise, temperature and rotation |
After lubricating the cam and slider, the oil flows back through the lower pan and pipework. It settles in the tank before being reused. The oil condition must still be inspected regularly.
The shuttle oil cup supports both lubrication and heat dissipation. The recommended oil supply is approximately one drop every 8–10 seconds.
A suitable volatile lubricating oil, such as spindle oil, should be used around the shuttle. Excessive oil may contaminate the PP or PE tape yarn and leave marks on the woven fabric, while insufficient oil may increase friction and operating temperature.
Fabric cleanliness is especially relevant when the mineral packaging fabric will undergo downstream coating or printing. Oil contamination on the fabric surface may interfere with subsequent converting processes.
| Maintenance item | Recommended interval |
|---|---|
| Check oil-cup level | Before startup and during operation |
| Inspect cam oil spray | During daily operation |
| First oil change for a new machine | After 7–10 days |
| Normal oil-tank change | Every three months |
| Lubricate gears, bearings and chain wheels | Three times per month |
| Clean and inspect shuttles | Periodically or after abnormalities |
| Inspect slider wear | Periodically |
| Remove dust from the machine | According to workshop conditions |
The actual schedule should also consider daily operating hours, ambient temperature, dust levels and lubricant condition.
This Circular Loom Machine can be used to weave PP or PE tape yarn into tubular fabric for packaging dry mineral powder, mineral granules, sand and industrial mineral additives. It supports the weaving and winding stages for mineral sack fabric manufacturers. After weaving, the fabric may require coating, printing, cutting and sewing according to the packaged material. Fine-powder containment, moisture resistance, chemical compatibility, electrostatic control and dangerous-goods compliance must be verified through the final bag construction and testing; they are not established by the loom’s lubrication system.

No. The oil level, pipework, spray position and lubricant condition still require regular inspection. Lubricating oil must also be replaced according to the maintenance schedule.
The shuttles move continuously around the track and require local lubrication and heat dissipation. Their lubrication method is separate from the forced cam oil-spray system.
Excessive oil, leaking pipes or unsuitable lubricant may mark the fabric. The oil supply should be controlled and leakage cleaned before it reaches the tape yarn or woven fabric.
No. The loom produces tubular base fabric. Leak control depends on subsequent coating, liner, seam construction and finished-sack testing.
