Cement packaging fabric coating requires more than increasing the speed of one motor. Unwinding, substrate preheating, resin extrusion, lamination, cooling, trimming and rewinding must remain coordinated.
This 20–130 m/min Variable-Speed Film Coating Machine uses frequency control and centralized PLC operation to adjust the line according to the PP woven substrate, coating thickness and roll requirements.
The 130 m/min value is the maximum line speed. It is not a guaranteed production speed for every coating specification.
| Process section | Speed-control requirement |
|---|---|
| Double-station unwinding | Supply the substrate continuously |
| EPC web guiding | Maintain the fabric position |
| Preheating rollers | Preheat the substrate at the selected speed |
| Twin extruders | Match coating width, thickness and resin delivery |
| Lamination rollers | Maintain continuous contact and pressure |
| Water-cooled chill roller | Cool the coating after lamination |
| Online edge trimming | Follow the coated web speed |
| Double-station rewinding | Maintain tension and roll alignment |
When the line speed changes, extrusion output, die temperature, web tension and cooling-water conditions should also be checked.
During startup, the operator checks the web path, EPC guiding, extrusion condition and cooling system before gradually entering continuous production. Trial coating confirms the width, thickness and surface condition.
After the settings are approved, the speed can be increased to a level suitable for the order. The selected speed should maintain coating and winding conditions rather than simply approach 130 m/min.
A change in substrate width, coating thickness or resin requires corresponding adjustments to unwinding tension, extrusion output, die width and rewinding speed.
The machine is used for single- or double-sided PE or PP extrusion coating of woven cement sack fabric. It supports continuous unwinding, coating, cooling, edge trimming and rewinding for cement packaging material manufacturers. The coated fabric can proceed to printing, cutting, valve formation and sewing. Fine cement powder containment, moisture control and closure performance depend on coating continuity, thickness, sack design and finished-product testing.

Acceptance should not be based only on whether the line reaches 130 m/min. Testing should use the agreed cement sack substrate, coating width and thickness to check:
No. Actual speed depends on substrate width, coating thickness, resin, extrusion output, cooling and rewinding conditions.
Not necessarily. If extrusion, cooling or rewinding cannot remain synchronized, increasing speed may affect the coated roll.
No. It coats and rewinds the substrate. Printing, cutting, valve construction and sewing require downstream equipment.
This cannot be guaranteed from machine parameters alone. Powder containment also depends on coating continuity, sack openings, seams and finished-product testing.
