After PE or PP coating, bulk bag fabric must be rewound under controlled tension before it proceeds to printing, cutting and sewing. Incorrect tension or poorly coordinated roll changes may result in loose winding, wrinkles or misaligned roll edges.
This Double-Station Rewinding Film Coating Machine combines friction rewinding, automatic tension adjustment, web cutting and roll-unloading devices. It is intended for coated FIBC, bulk bag and jumbo bag woven fabric.
| Rewinding component | Configuration | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Double-station rewinder | Two winding positions | Supports roll-position changeover |
| Friction winding roller | Ø600 mm | Drives the finished roll by friction |
| Rewinding shafts | Two Ø90 mm air-expanding shafts | Hold the coated fabric rolls |
| Rewinding motor | 22 kW variable-frequency motor | Adjusts the winding operation |
| Automatic tension roller | Dancer, cylinder and potentiometer | Controls incoming web tension |
| Roll-change cutter | Servo cross-cutting knife | Cuts the web during roll change |
| Shaft-loading device | Automatic shaft-loading mechanism | Prepares the next winding position |
| Roll-unloading device | Finished-roll unloading mechanism | Removes the completed roll |
The double-station arrangement supports roll changeover. However, the exact automatic, semi-automatic or continuous changeover mode should be confirmed in the technical agreement.
Insufficient tension may produce a loose roll, while excessive tension may stretch the woven substrate or affect the coated surface. Tension should be readjusted when the fabric weight, coating thickness or line speed changes.
The substrate should remain laterally aligned before entering the rewinder. The line uses ±100 mm EPC guiding and online edge trimming to control the web path and usable width.
The maximum rewinding diameter is Ø1300 mm. The selected diameter must also match roll weight, lifting equipment, storage space and downstream machinery.
Coated fabric should pass through the water-cooled lamination roller before rewinding. The coating must reach a suitable winding condition to prevent problems between adjacent roll layers.
The machine controls tension, trims edges and rewinds FIBC, bulk bag and jumbo bag woven fabric after single- or double-sided PE or PP extrusion coating. It can process coated packaging material for fertilizer, minerals, cement, metallurgical materials and other industrial bulk products. The finished rolls can proceed to printing, cutting, sewing and lifting-loop installation. Load capacity, moisture resistance, powder containment and electrostatic properties must be verified through the final bag construction and testing.

During trial production, check:
Not automatically. It provides the structural conditions for changeover, but the exact operating and automation mode must be confirmed.
No. It is the maximum capacity. The actual roll diameter depends on weight, handling and downstream equipment.
Not completely. Unwinding, tension control and EPC guiding must control the web position before rewinding.
No. It coats, trims and rewinds bulk bag fabric. Finished bags require printing, cutting, sewing, lifting-loop installation and inspection.
