This 800–2200 mm Wide-Width Film Coating Machine applies molten PE or PP resin to PP woven fabric for the production of single- or double-sided coated fertilizer sack material.
The line uses two extrusion units and supports coating widths from 800 to 2200 mm. Its coating-thickness range is 0.008–0.050 mm, allowing the setup to be matched with different woven fabric widths and packaging specifications.
The required coating width should be selected according to the original woven fabric, finished sack dimensions and edge-trimming allowance. The 2200 mm value is the maximum coating width, not the required setting for every order.
| Buyer condition | Parameter to confirm |
|---|---|
| Original woven fabric width | Must fall within the 800–2200 mm range |
| Effective coated width | Usable width after edge trimming |
| Single- or double-sided coating | Determines the extrusion and lamination path |
| Finished sack dimensions | Must match downstream cutting |
| Coating thickness | Select within 0.008–0.050 mm |
| Roll specification | Maximum unwind and rewind diameter Ø1300 mm |
The EPC web-guiding system provides a ±100 mm correction range to control the substrate position during unwinding and lamination.
The woven substrate enters through a double-station unwinder and passes through double-sided brush cleaning and preheating rollers. Molten PE or PP resin is then applied and pressed onto the woven fabric.
The coated material is cooled by a Ø600 mm double-jacket water-cooled mirror roller, followed by inline edge trimming and waste-edge collection. A double-station friction rewinder completes the roll production process.
A S PLC and touchscreen provide centralized control, while the line speed can be adjusted from 20 to 130 m/min.
The machine is mainly used for single- or double-sided extrusion coating of PP woven fertilizer sack fabric, including packaging material for granular fertilizers, compound fertilizers and other dry fertilizer products. The coating can improve surface coverage, airtightness and moisture resistance while preparing the material for downstream printing, cutting and sewing. Actual moisture, tensile and sealing performance must be verified according to the resin, coating thickness, woven substrate and finished-sack test results.

Yes. The line has two extrusion and lamination units for double-sided coating. The final material path and coating parameters should be confirmed before production.
No. It is the maximum coating width. The effective finished width depends on the substrate, die setting and edge-trimming allowance.
No. It performs coating and rewinding. Printing, cutting and sewing require downstream equipment.
Not automatically. Moisture resistance depends on the resin, coating thickness, coating continuity, seams and finished sack construction.
