When a warp or weft yarn breaks and the loom continues running, the tubular fabric may develop an extended weaving defect that affects subsequent coating, cutting and bag conversion.
This Automatic Yarn-Break Stop Circular Loom Machine monitors warp and weft conditions. When the system detects broken weft, exhausted weft, broken warp or loose warp, it can request the main drive to stop for inspection.
The system limits continued weaving after a detected abnormality. It does not prevent every yarn break or replace manual fabric inspection.
| Monitored condition | Possible problem | Machine response |
|---|---|---|
| Weft yarn | Yarn breakage | Stops after an abnormal signal |
| Weft package | Yarn exhaustion | Stops continued weaving |
| Warp yarn | One or more broken ends | Warp monitor triggers a stop |
| Warp tension | Loose warp | Stops for tension inspection |
| Signal device | Transmitter and receiver misalignment | May cause false stopping or startup failure |
| Shuttle generator | Irregular pulse signal | Controller requests the main drive to stop |
The weft detector uses pulse signals generated by shuttle operation. Regular signals indicate normal yarn movement. A broken or exhausted weft changes the signal condition and initiates the stop command.
Chemical powder sacks may require coating, a separate liner or a specified closure after the tubular base fabric has been woven. Missing weft, broken warp or visible weave openings can affect the consistency of these downstream processes.
After an automatic stop, the operator should check:
The machine weaves PP, PE or other plastic tape yarn into tubular base fabric for packaging resins, inorganic salts, mineral additives and other dry chemical powders. Depending on the material, the woven fabric may require downstream coating, lining, cutting and sewing. Automatic yarn-break stopping controls specific weaving abnormalities; it does not establish chemical resistance, moisture protection, sift-proof performance, electrostatic classification or dangerous-goods compliance for the finished sack.

No. It monitors specific warp and weft conditions. Fabric dimensions, density and surface condition still require inspection.
No. Receiver misalignment, excessive signal distance, generator failure or an unreleased emergency-stop button may also stop the loom.
No. Machine monitoring and finished-sack electrostatic performance are separate requirements.
No. It produces tubular woven base fabric. Coating, lining, cutting, sewing and finished-product testing require downstream processes.
