Product Description

180 g/m² Coated Nickel Sulfate FIBC Bag with PE Liner for Moisture-Control Packaging

Product Description

This nickel sulfate FIBC bag uses a 180 g/m² externally coated PP woven body, 190 g/m² coated top and bottom panels, and an approximately 90 μm PE inner liner. The woven outer bag provides the structural layer, the coating reduces direct exposure through the woven openings, and the liner separates the nickel sulfate from the outer fabric and storage environment.

The configuration is suitable for filling, production-stage temporary storage, warehouse transfer, and transportation of nickel sulfate powder or crystalline material. Actual moisture-control performance also depends on liner closure, spout fastening, ambient humidity, transportation duration, and package integrity.

Powder Isolation with a 180 g/m² Coated Body

PP woven fabric contains openings between the woven tapes. For nickel sulfate and other chemical materials requiring controlled exposure and contamination management, uncoated woven fabric alone may not provide a complete isolation structure.

The bag body uses 180 g/m² externally coated material, while the top and bottom panels use 190 g/m² externally coated material. The coating covers the outer woven surface, reducing direct contact between the material and woven openings while making the outer surface easier to clean.

The base fabric is specified with a minimum strength of 1760 N in both the warp and weft directions. This value describes the directional strength requirement of the woven fabric, but fabric weight and strength alone do not determine moisture performance.

Function of the PE Liner

The bag contains a 200 × 340 cm PE liner with a specified thickness of 9 si, approximately 90 μm. The liner separates the nickel sulfate from the PP woven outer bag, reduces entry into the woven structure, and limits direct exposure to the external environment during normal storage and transportation.

The specified liner has a tubular open-top and open-bottom configuration. Its moisture-control performance therefore also depends on:

  • Whether the liner is fully extended;
  • Whether it has pinholes, cuts, or sealing damage;
  • Whether the upper liner is tied, heat-sealed, or closed by another method;
  • Whether the connection around the discharge section is secured;
  • Whether the outer filling and discharge spouts are properly closed;
  • Whether the package is compressed or abraded during transportation.

The coated outer bag and PE liner create a multilayer isolation structure, but the configuration should not be described as airtight, waterproof, or completely moisture-proof without test data.

Filling and Temporary Storage

Before filling, fully extend the PE liner and check that it is not twisted, folded, or trapped around the bottom discharge section. The Ø45 × 60 cm filling spout should match the filling equipment and keep the material entering near the center of the bag.

After filling, select the liner-closing method according to the material condition and temporary storage period. Nickel sulfate awaiting inspection, blending, or transfer should not remain open for extended periods in high-humidity, outdoor, or condensation-prone areas.

For open filling systems, control airborne dust, floor moisture, and ambient humidity, and close the inner liner and outer filling spout promptly after filling.

Warehouse and Transportation Considerations

For warehouse storage and transportation:

  • Store the filled bags in a dry and sheltered warehouse;
  • Prevent direct contact between the bag and a damp floor;
  • Use a pallet that supports the bag bottom evenly;
  • Prevent sharp pallet edges from damaging the coating or PE liner;
  • Protect the bags from roof leakage, condensation, and direct rain exposure;
  • Inspect the body, seams, spouts, and liner closure before loading;
  • Select tying, heat sealing, or another liner-closing method according to transportation duration;
  • Confirm bag stability, pallet capacity, and finished-bag test results before stacking.

The formulation contains 1% UV additive, but no outdoor exposure duration or ageing-test result is specified. The additive should therefore not be used as evidence for long-term outdoor storage.

Items to Confirm Before Filling

1. Material Condition

Confirm whether the nickel sulfate is supplied as powder, crystals, or granules. Particle size, bulk density, flowability, and filling temperature affect the liner configuration and filling process.

2. Storage Environment

Check the warehouse for high humidity, damp floors, roof leakage, and condensation caused by temperature changes. A coated body and conventionally tied liner may not be sufficient for extended storage in severe moisture conditions.

3. Transportation Duration

Short-distance internal transfer and long-distance sea transportation involve different periods of humidity exposure. For longer journeys, reconfirm liner thickness, closure method, pallet protection, and container condensation controls.

4. Filling Method

Confirm whether the material is filled through an open system, screw conveyor, gravity feeder, or enclosed pipeline. The equipment interface should match the Ø45 × 60 cm filling spout.

5. Discharge Method

Confirm whether the material will be discharged by gravity, vacuum transfer, or manual assistance. The Ø45 × 45 cm discharge spout should match the downstream equipment and material flow characteristics.

6. Liner Requirements

Confirm whether the liner needs tying, heat sealing, independent fixing, or an extended opening. If a defined moisture-barrier performance is required, provide water-vapour transmission, seal-integrity, or packaging-validation requirements.
