This food grade baffle bulk bag is intended for powdered food additives and other compatible dry food ingredients. It has a finished size of 110 × 110 × 120 cm. The body, top and bottom panels use 200 g/m² white inner-coated fabric, while four internal baffles, four lifting loops, a top filling spout and a bottom discharge spout form the main structure.
Compared with ordinary flour packaging, food additives may have a finer particle size, higher product value, lower dosing ratio or greater moisture sensitivity. Bag selection should therefore consider powder leakage, material residue, batch contamination, liner requirements and food-contact compliance—not only the external dimensions.
Powdered food additives may include thickeners, stabilizers, acidity regulators, leavening agents, sweeteners and other dry ingredients. Their particle size, flow characteristics, hygroscopicity and chemical properties can vary significantly.
For fine powders or ingredients used in small dosing ratios, residual material inside the bag may affect batch control. Hygroscopic additives may require a separate high-barrier liner because an ordinary fabric coating does not automatically provide sufficient moisture protection. Very fine aerated powders may also require additional evaluation of powder leakage through sewn areas.
The body, top and bottom panels use 200 g/m² inner-coated fabric. The production sheet records the fabric strength as ≥1,500 N / ≥1,500 N. The coating helps reduce direct powder penetration into the woven structure, but it should not be described as completely leakproof, moisture-proof or airtight without supporting test data.
The bag contains four 57 × 100 cm internal baffles. Each baffle has four evenly distributed 10 × 30 cm oval openings. The baffles help control lateral expansion after filling, while the openings allow food additives to move between the internal sections.

|---|---|---|
| Additive type | Composition, food application and material compatibility | Determines fabric, coating and liner material |
| Particle size | Fine or ultrafine powder | Affects seam and sift-resistance requirements |
| Bulk density | Value in kg/m³ | Determines the required bag volume |
| Hygroscopicity | Sensitivity to atmospheric moisture | May require a separate high-barrier liner |
| Flow characteristics | Free-flowing, bridging or caking | Affects discharge-spout and unloading design |
| Residue requirement | Permitted material remaining after discharge | Affects internal surface and outlet design |
| Filling equipment | Connection diameter and filling rate | Determines filling-spout dimensions |
| Discharge equipment | Outlet interface and feeding method | Determines discharge-spout configuration |
| Electrostatic risk | Minimum ignition energy and hazardous area | May require a verified Type C or Type D FIBC |
| Food-contact requirements | FDA, EU 10/2011 or customer standards | Requires applicable test reports and documentation |
| Target filling weight | Actual load and handling method | Must match a tested SWL and safety factor |
A separate liner, sift-resistant seams or a verified antistatic construction may be required for hygroscopic, ultrafine or electrostatically sensitive food additives.
The bag has a Ø50 × 60 cm top filling spout and a Ø45 × 45 cm bottom discharge spout for connection to compatible filling and dosing equipment. Four 7 × 160 cm soft lifting loops provide a four-point lifting configuration. However, loop dimensions alone do not prove a specific safe working load.
The production process requires air cleaning and light-table inspection to control loose threads, insects, dirt and other visible foreign matter. Food-additive projects may also require batch segregation, allergen management and traceability controls. The stated food-grade requirement does not independently prove FDA, EU 10/2011 or BRCGS compliance; any such claim must be supported by applicable reports or certificates.
