Animal feed bag fabric must be configured according to feed particle size, filling weight, coating method and subsequent sewing requirements. This Adjustable-Density Circular Loom Machine supports a weft-density range of 10–16 picks/inch for different PP or PE tape-yarn specifications.
The 10–16 picks/inch value describes weft density only. Overall fabric construction also depends on warp quantity, tape width, linear density and yarn tension. Weft density alone cannot establish bag strength or powder-containment performance.
| Buyer concern | Influence of weft density | Additional factor to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Fabric tightness | More picks increase the amount of weft per unit length | Warp quantity and tape width |
| Fabric weight | Density changes may affect weight per square meter | Tape linear density |
| Fabric flexibility | Different settings change folding behavior | Tape thickness and formulation |
| Printing surface | Uniform weaving supports downstream processing | Coating and printing method |
| Fine-particle containment | Tighter construction may reduce larger weave openings | Coating, liner and seam design |
| Production output | Higher density requires more weft insertion | Machine speed and operating condition |
A higher weft density is not automatically better for every feed bag. The setting should balance fabric specification, converting requirements and production output.
Before setting the loom, the manufacturer should define:
When the tape specification or fabric design changes, warp tension, tubular dimensions and winding conditions should be checked again.
The Circular Loom Machine can weave PP or PE tape yarn into tubular fabric for animal feed packaging, including outer fabric for pellet feed sacks, powdered feed sacks, feed ingredient bags and premix packaging. After weaving, the fabric requires printing, cutting and sewing, with coating or a liner added where moisture or fine-powder control is required. Loom parameters alone do not establish feed-contact, food-grade or moisture-proof compliance; these requirements depend on raw materials, production conditions and finished-bag testing.

Before mass production, a sample should be woven using the customer’s tape yarn and target density. The evaluation should cover:
Confirming the settings through sample fabric and converted-bag testing is more useful than simply selecting the highest available density.
No. A higher setting changes the fabric construction and production rate. The correct value depends on tape yarn, fabric weight and packaging requirements.
No. Strength also depends on warp quantity, tape strength, weaving construction and downstream sewing.
No. It produces tubular woven fabric. Printing, coating, cutting and sewing require downstream equipment.
No. Food or feed-contact compliance depends on the polymer, additives, production hygiene and finished-product testing.
