Product Description

1% UV Additive Lithium Carbonate FIBC Bag With Coated Baffle Structure

Product Positioning

This 1% UV Additive Lithium Carbonate FIBC Bag is intended for lithium carbonate packaging that may experience temporary sunlight exposure during plant handling, loading, transport transfer or short-term staging.

The production formulation specifies 1% UV additive. The bag also uses a 190 g/m² internally coated body and four internal baffles. The configuration addresses three separate packaging considerations:

  1. The 1% UV additive improves the packaging material’s suitability for light-exposure conditions.
  2. The coated fabric helps reduce the risk of powder passing through woven openings.
  3. Four internal baffles restrain lateral expansion after filling.

The 1% value represents an additive ratio in the production formulation. It does not establish a specific outdoor service period or replace documented UV-aging test results.

What the 1% UV Additive Means

Filled lithium carbonate bags may be exposed to sunlight at loading platforms, temporary staging areas, warehouse entrances or on transport vehicles. Continued ultraviolet exposure can affect the mechanical properties of packaging materials, which is why some projects specify a UV additive.

The production sheet explicitly states:

UV Additive: 1%

This value can be used as a formulation and production-inspection requirement. By itself, however, it does not prove:

  • A specific number of days for outdoor storage
  • Strength retention after UV exposure
  • Compliance with a particular international UV standard
  • Suitability for long-term outdoor storage
  • Protection against rain or moisture
  • The same service life in different climates

Where a defined outdoor exposure period is required, the test standard, irradiation conditions, test duration and post-aging strength-retention results should be specified.

Combined UV, Coating and Baffle Configuration

The UV additive is only one part of the bag construction. Coated fabric, internal baffles and filling and discharge spouts support the lithium carbonate handling process.

Construction Documented parameter Primary function
UV formulation 1% additive Improves suitability for light-exposure conditions
Body fabric 190 g/m², internally coated Forms the main body and covers part of the woven openings
Fabric strength ≥1,700 N/50 mm Provides a measurable body-fabric tensile requirement
Internal baffles Four, 56 × 100 cm Restrain lateral expansion after filling
Filling spout Φ45 × 60 cm Connects to lithium carbonate filling equipment
Discharge spout Φ40 × 55 cm Supports controlled unloading
Four lifting loops ≥17,000 N per loop Support mechanical handling of the 1,000 kg bag

UV content, fabric strength, baffles and loop tensile strength address different packaging requirements. A 1% UV additive does not prove lifting capacity, while loop strength does not establish long-term outdoor weather resistance.

Application

This Lithium Carbonate FIBC Bag can be used for battery-grade or industrial-grade lithium carbonate moving between the filling line and finished-goods warehouse, waiting temporarily at a plant loading platform, travelling by truck or container and being discharged at the receiving facility, particularly where the filled bags may experience temporary sunlight exposure around warehouse entrances, loading yards, port transfer areas or during transportation; continuous outdoor storage, rain exposure or extended high-temperature sunlight requires separate confirmation of UV test performance, covering methods, moisture-control liners and the permitted storage period.
