Product Description

180 GSM UV-Stabilized Silica Fume FIBC Bulk Bag with Inner Liner

Product Overview

This silica fume FIBC bulk bag is designed for filling, storing, lifting, and discharging microsilica and other fine industrial powders. It combines a 180 g/m² uncoated woven body with an internal liner, four cross-corner lifting loops, a top filling spout, and a bottom discharge spout.

The base fabric contains 1% UV additive for applications where packaged materials may experience limited sunlight exposure during transportation or temporary storage. The actual outdoor exposure period should be determined according to the storage environment and UV-aging test requirements.

Designed for Fine Silica Fume Powder

Silica fume has a fine particle size and can generate dust during filling, handling, and discharge. A conventional open-top bulk bag may provide insufficient control at the filling and unloading points.

This FIBC uses a bottleneck-style inner liner together with dedicated filling and discharge spouts. The structure helps isolate the powder from the outer woven fabric and supports connection with powder filling and unloading equipment.

The liner is secured at the top and bottom to help maintain alignment with the two spouts during operation.

Reinforced Four-Loop Construction

The bag is equipped with four 7 × 140 cm cross-corner lifting loops. Each lifting position includes a 14 × 20 cm reinforcement patch.

The lifting loops extend 40 cm down the bag body and are secured using diamond-pattern stitching. The specified fabric strength is at least 1650 N in both warp and weft directions.

These values describe the fabric and sewing construction. The safe working load and safety factor must still be confirmed through the final order specification and complete-bag testing.

Typical Applications

This silica fume FIBC bulk bag can be considered for:

  • Silica fume and microsilica packaging
  • Cement additive production
  • Concrete admixture processing
  • Dry construction material plants
  • Industrial mineral powder handling
  • Chemical powder filling lines
  • Powder storage and warehouse transfer
  • Controlled bottom discharge systems

How to Choose the Configuration

1. Confirm the required safe working load

Bag dimensions and fabric strength cannot independently determine the safe working load. The required loading weight, material bulk density, lifting method, and safety factor should be confirmed before production.

2. Match the filling equipment

The standard configuration uses an approximately Ø45 × 55 cm filling spout and a Ø39 cm top opening. Check the filling nozzle diameter, clamping method, and required spout length.

3. Check the discharge connection

The approximately Ø35 × 45 cm discharge spout supports controlled bottom unloading. Its diameter and length should be selected according to the receiving hopper and required discharge rate.

4. Confirm the inner liner specification

The liner material, thickness tolerance, sealing method, and moisture-barrier requirements should be confirmed according to the silica fume condition and storage environment.

5. Define the UV exposure conditions

The fabric contains 1% UV additive. If the bags will be stored outdoors, specify the expected exposure time, geographic location, covering method, and required UV-aging standard.
