Product Description
Four Loop Food Grade Baffle FIBC Bags for Dry Food Premix Processing

Problem

Dry food premixes commonly contain multiple powdered or fine granular ingredients, such as flour, starch, powdered sugar and other food ingredients. During bulk filling, warehouse handling and production-line feeding, conventional bulk bags may expand outward, create irregular pallet arrangements or retain material after discharge.

For premixes containing low-dosage ingredients or allergens, loose threads, visible contaminants, residue from a previous batch and incomplete label information may affect batch control. Differences in particle size and flow characteristics can also influence filling, material distribution and discharge.

Cause

Conventional FIBCs without internal baffles provide limited control over lateral expansion. After filling, the pressure generated by the dry premix pushes the bag walls outward. Differences in particle size and density may also cause local compaction, bridging or irregular flow during filling, transportation and discharge.

Fine powder can enter uncoated woven fabric, while unsuitable filling and discharge spouts may increase dust generation, irregular unloading and material residue. The bag structure can improve packaging and handling conditions, but it cannot replace the mixing controls used to maintain premix uniformity.

Solution

This four-loop food grade baffle FIBC uses 200 g/m² white inner-coated fabric for the body, top and bottom panels. Four 57 × 100 cm internal baffles help limit lateral expansion after filling. Each baffle has four evenly distributed 10 × 30 cm oval openings that allow powder to move between the internal sections. The bag also includes a Ø50 × 60 cm top filling spout, a Ø45 × 45 cm bottom discharge spout, four 7 × 160 cm soft lifting loops and a 25 × 30 cm document pouch. These features support connection to compatible filling and discharge equipment and provide a location for batch labels and product information.

Application

These food grade baffle FIBC bags can be used for compatible bakery premixes, bread mixes, cake mixes, blended flour, soup bases, seasoning bases and other dry blended food ingredients. Typical applications include finished-product filling, warehouse handling, palletized transportation and production-line feeding at food-ingredient plants, industrial bakeries, central-kitchen suppliers and food-processing facilities. Premixes containing hygroscopic ingredients, fat-containing powders, allergens or ultrafine additives may require a separate liner, sift-resistant seams, batch segregation or additional cleaning validation.

FAQ

1. What types of food premix can the bag hold?

It may be used for compatible bakery premixes, bread mixes, cake mixes, blended flour and other dry food blends. Premixes containing oils, hygroscopic ingredients, caking powders or ultrafine particles require separate evaluation.

2. Do the internal baffles maintain premix uniformity?

No. The baffles help limit lateral bag expansion and control the filled profile. Premix uniformity depends on the formulation, mixing equipment, mixing time and transportation conditions.

3. Does the coating completely prevent fine-powder leakage?

Not necessarily. The coating helps reduce powder penetration into the woven structure, but overall performance also depends on seams, needle holes, spout closures and liner configuration.

4. What handling methods are compatible with the four lifting loops?

The four 7 × 160 cm lifting loops can be used with compatible forklifts or lifting equipment. Fork dimensions, lifting height, loop position and verified loading requirements must be confirmed before operation.

5. How does the bag support batch identification?

A 25 × 30 cm self-sealing document pouch provides space for product names, batch numbers, production dates or other shipment information. The final traceability system should follow the customer’s quality-management process.

6. Does “food grade” prove FDA or BRCGS certification?

No. The production process requires air cleaning and light-table inspection to control loose threads, insects, dirt and other visible foreign matter. FDA, EU 10/2011 or BRCGS claims require the corresponding reports or certification documents.
