This Fertilizer FIBC uses a top filling and bottom discharge structure for packaging processes where urea, compound fertilizer and similar fertilizer granules need to be filled from upstream equipment and later discharged into downstream systems.
The bag measures 105 × 105 × 125cm and uses φ45 × 50cm filling and discharge structures.
The body fabric is 180gsm white coated material with minimum warp and weft fabric strength of ≥1500N. Internal baffles and lifting components are also included.
The main design focus is to connect upstream filling equipment with downstream discharge operations rather than simply providing a standard bulk bag.
In fertilizer packaging operations, granules are often transferred into an FIBC through a hopper, weighing system or fixed filling pipe.
If the top opening does not match the equipment, operators may need to repeatedly adjust the bag position, clamping method or equipment height.
After storage or transportation, the fertilizer may need to enter a hopper, conveyor, mixer or another downstream system.
Without a suitable bottom outlet, unloading may require additional bag opening, turning or manual assistance.
Different fertilizers can also behave differently because of particle size, flowability, moisture sensitivity and caking tendency.
This FIBC uses a φ45 × 50cm top filling structure and a φ45 × 50cm bottom discharge structure to connect fertilizer filling with downstream unloading. The top inlet can work with filling pipes, weighing equipment or hopper outlets for centralized fertilizer granule filling, while the bottom outlet provides a defined discharge path after storage or transportation. Four 55 × 100cm internal baffles with 10 × 30cm oval openings allow granules to move between different internal areas while providing additional restraint against excessive lateral expansion. The final configuration should be confirmed according to particle size, flowability, moisture or caking behavior and the actual upstream and downstream equipment interfaces.

The top filling spout is an important interface between the FIBC and upstream packaging equipment.
The current structure is φ45 × 50cm and uses 95gsm white coated fabric with a 20cm tie. It can be used with filling pipes, weighing equipment or hopper outlets for centralized fertilizer filling.
The bottom also uses a φ45 × 50cm discharge structure for controlled unloading after transportation or storage.
For projects where fertilizer must enter a hopper, conveyor, mixer or another downstream system, the bottom outlet provides a defined material-transfer path.
Actual performance, however, depends on more than the spout size. Urea, NPK compound fertilizer and granular ammonium sulfate may differ in flowability, moisture sensitivity and caking behavior, so the discharge structure should be reviewed according to the actual material.
The bag contains four 55 × 100cm internal baffles with 10 × 30cm oval openings.
The baffles provide additional restraint against excessive lateral expansion after filling, while the openings allow fertilizer granules to continue flowing between different internal areas.
The complete packaging process can be understood as:
Hopper / Weighing System → Filling Pipe → Top Filling Spout → FIBC → Storage / Transportation → Bottom Discharge → Downstream Equipment
The product is therefore designed to connect filling, material containment, storage and downstream unloading in one packaging process.
This top-filling and bottom-discharge FIBC is mainly used for centralized filling and downstream discharge of urea, NPK compound fertilizer, granular ammonium sulfate and similar fertilizer granules.
It is particularly suitable for industrial packaging projects using fixed filling equipment upstream and hoppers, conveyors, mixers or other receiving systems downstream.
Free-flowing fertilizer granules are generally easier to discharge through the bottom outlet. Materials that absorb moisture or tend to cake require additional review of storage conditions and discharge requirements.
