Product Description

Custom Baffle FIBC Bag With Configurable Spouts And Lifting Loops For Industrial Powder Processing

1. Customization Starts with the Powder Process

Customizing a Baffle FIBC Bag involves more than changing its colour, dimensions or printing. The construction should reflect the powder, filling equipment, discharge method and handling conditions.

Graphite powder, mineral powder and industrial fillers may require different spouts, baffle openings and seam configurations.

The complete process—from filling and temporary holding to transfer and discharge—should be reviewed before the bag specifications are finalized.

2. Reference Configuration for Customization

The reference bag measures 60 × 60 × 60 cm. Its body, top and bottom use black 170 g/m² internally coated woven PP fabric.

Four 35 × 44 cm internal baffles are fitted inside the bag. Each baffle contains two 10 × 20 cm oval openings.

The top and bottom use Φ30 × 30 cm filling and discharge spouts made from 90 g/m² internally coated fabric.

Four 5 × 100 cm soft lifting loops form the handling structure. These values can be used as a sample baseline and adjusted after reviewing the application.

3. Customizable Components

4. Customization for Different Operating Conditions

Different filling equipment

Provide the filling-nozzle diameter, insertion length, clamping method and feed rate. These values determine the required spout dimensions.

The finished interface should be confirmed before sampling rather than modified at the customer’s site.

Different powder flow properties

Free-flowing and agglomerating powders may require different baffle-opening arrangements.

The current design uses two 10 × 20 cm oval openings per baffle. Any modification should be evaluated through an actual filling trial.

Different discharge processes

The outlet must match the receiving hopper, mixer or downstream equipment. Provide connection dimensions, permitted flow and discharge-frame clearance.

Powders prone to compaction may require vibration or another form of discharge assistance.

Different handling equipment

Loop dimensions should be matched to forklift tine dimensions, engagement method and available lifting height.

The reference sheet does not specify SWL or safety factor. Rated capacity must be confirmed separately.

5. Application

This Custom Baffle FIBC Bag can be configured for filling, temporary holding, forklift handling and equipment discharge of graphite powder, mineral powder, carbon-based powder, industrial fillers and other dry industrial materials. Bag dimensions can be selected from bulk density and target weight, spouts can be matched to filling and receiving equipment, and loop dimensions can be reviewed against the pallet and forklift. Fine, moisture-sensitive, bridging or electrostatically sensitive powders require separate confirmation of liners, leakage controls or other application-specific features.

Customization Workflow

Submit the material information

Provide the powder name, particle-size range, loose bulk density, moisture condition, flowability and target net weight.

SDS and relevant packaging requirements should be supplied for corrosive, combustible or electrostatically sensitive materials.

Submit equipment data

Provide the dimensions of the filling nozzle, receiving inlet, forklift tines and pallet.

Dimensioned drawings are more useful than equipment photographs alone.

Define the bag structure

Determine bag dimensions from the required volume, then confirm the baffles, spouts, loops, seams, document pocket and label.

SWL, safety factor and other performance requirements must be included in the technical order documents.

Produce and test a sample

Use the intended powder to verify filling, corner distribution, filled dimensions, lifting and bottom discharge.

If a substitute material is used, its bulk density and flow behaviour should be similar, and the test limitations should be recorded.

Approve the production sample

After testing, fix the dimensions, fabric, baffles, interfaces, loops, seams and accessories in the approved specification.

Bulk production should follow a signed technical sheet or approved sample rather than the product title alone.
