Q-Type Food Grade Bulk Bags for Dry Food Powder with Form-Stable Design
1. Product Description
Q-type food grade bulk bags are FIBCs constructed with internal baffles for flour and other compatible dry food powders. The bag features a square body, a top filling spout and a bottom discharge spout, making it suitable for filling, handling and discharging bulk ingredients in flour mills and food-processing facilities.
The finished bag measures 110 × 110 × 120 cm. Its body, top and bottom panels use 200 g/m² inner-coated fabric. The production process also requires air cleaning and light-table inspection to control loose threads, insects, dirt and other visible foreign matter inside the bag.
2. Form-Stable Internal Baffle Design
Conventional bulk bags may expand outward after being filled with dry powder, affecting pallet arrangement and container-space utilization. This Q-type bulk bag contains four 57 × 100 cm internal baffles, which help limit lateral expansion and maintain a more controlled filled profile.
Each baffle has four evenly distributed 10 × 30 cm oval openings. These openings allow powder to move between the internal sections. The final bag shape will also depend on powder density, filling weight and the filling process.
3. Main Applications
These Q-type food grade bulk bags are suitable for:
Bulk packaging of flour and wheat flour;
Dry powder handling in food-processing facilities;
Packaging of bakery ingredients and food ingredients;
Production lines requiring top filling and bottom discharge;
Pallet and container applications requiring a more controlled bag profile.
Powdered sugar, starch and food additives should be evaluated according to particle size, flow characteristics, bulk density and food-contact requirements before use.

5. How to Select the Correct Bulk Bag
Selection should consider the material name, bulk density, required filling weight, filling-equipment connection and discharge method. For fine food powders, buyers should also evaluate seam construction, coating requirements and whether a separate PE liner is necessary.
Food-contact compliance must be verified according to the destination market. A food-grade production requirement does not automatically demonstrate FDA, EU 10/2011 or BRCGS compliance. The sheet specifies a 1% UV additive, but no UV-ageing duration is provided, so a specific outdoor service life should not be claimed without additional testing.
6. FAQ
What is the difference between a Q-type FIBC and a conventional bulk bag?
A Q-type FIBC contains internal baffles that help limit lateral expansion after filling. This model uses four 57 × 100 cm baffles, each with four oval material-flow openings.
What materials can this bulk bag hold?
The production sheet specifically identifies flour. Other dry food powders should be evaluated according to particle size, bulk density, flow characteristics and food-contact requirements.
Does the bag include a separate PE liner?
The available production sheet specifies inner-coated fabric but does not specify a separate PE liner. It should not be promoted as an “FIBC with PE liner” without further confirmation.
What is the safe working load?
The load-capacity field is blank. A capacity such as 1 tonne or 1.2 tonnes must not be stated until the SWL and safety factor have been confirmed through the order specification and applicable testing.
Can it be described as an FDA-compliant food grade bulk bag?
Not based on the current production sheet alone. FDA, EU 10/2011 or BRCGS claims require the corresponding material reports or certification documents.
