How to Select an FIBC Cutting Machine for Spout Holes, Big Circles and U-Panel Fabric?

2026-09-19

To select an FIBC cutting machine, start with the workpiece rather than with a machine list. Different FIBC components — the bag body, the circular top or bottom piece, the bottom cover, the U-panel fabric and the PE liner — are cut on different machine models, and matching the machine to the workpiece is the whole exercise. This article maps each processing object directly to the equipment and the specification that matters.

Workpiece-to-Machine Selection Table

Workpiece Matching Machine Key Specification
Standard bag body panel CBJ-1350 1350 mm width
Wide bag body panel CBJ-2200 2200 mm width
Circular top / bottom panel DYCBJ-1350 800–1260 mm big circle
Spout hole / corner cut CBJ / DYCBJ 200–600 mm
Square bottom cover DYCBJ-1350 Square bottom cover cutting
U-panel fabric DYCBJ-1350 U-panel base fabric cutting
PE liner ZNCMJ-2200 2200 mm; 300–4000 mm

How to Work Through the Selection

  1. First decide what is being cut: a bag body, a circular piece, a bottom cover, U-panel fabric, or a PE liner.
  2. Then confirm the material width, the developed (flat) length and the opening size.
  3. Finally match the workpiece to the correct model in the table above.

Three Points That Are Easy to Get Wrong

Do not confuse the two opening ranges. The 200–600 mm range is the spout-hole and corner-cut range; the 800–1260 mm range is the big-circle range. They belong to different operations and must not be written as one figure.

Do not treat one machine as another. The outer-bag base-fabric cutting machine and the PE liner cutting machine are not the same equipment. A liner such as the ZNCMJ-2200 is specified for 2200 mm width and a 300–4000 mm cutting length, which is a different configuration from an outer-bag cutter.

Ask for the development drawing, not just the finished bag size. Selection depends on the flat panel layout — the developed length and width — not only on the finished bag dimensions. A buyer who provides the developed drawing gets a correct model recommendation on the first pass; a buyer who provides only the finished bag size risks ordering the wrong width or opening range.

Separating the Two Machine Families

It also helps to separate the machine families clearly. The outer-bag cutting machines (CBJ-1350 and CBJ-2200) produce the body panels and handle spout holes and corner cuts on the flat fabric. The DYCBJ-1350 is needed once the work moves to circular and shaped pieces — big circles and the square bottom cover — and to U-panel base fabric. The liner machine (ZNCMJ-2200) is a separate line for PE inner bags. A plant that cuts all of these components will normally run more than one of these models rather than expecting a single machine to cover every workpiece.

Follow this order — workpiece first, dimensions second, model last — and the choice between body cutters, circle cutters, U-panel machines and liner machines becomes straightforward.
